Brand design for Gabana Baleal Beach, a new ice cream parlour located in Baleal.
Brief
Ice creams, bar, restaurant and accommodation in just one space. A place to enjoy, relax and taste what life has better to offer. Baleal is a well known place located in Portugal’s Silver Coast. Sought by surfers and tourists, Baleal beaches are one of the gems of Portugal’s west coast. Gabana’s core business is ice cream, with a lot of experience obtained in France in their former ice cream shop, before their family moved to Portugal. There was a gap to fill in the homemade ice cream sector and they took their expertise from France to open this very well successful business.
Approach and Results
To create the brand, I had in consideration and tried to conjugate waves and ice creams, also adding to the brand a creaminess and “artisanal” typography. The result was a smooth, creamy and wavy brand, with a lot of freshness.
